# Book Spotlight

We have received some new books in the library. Come and explore what’s available!

## The Wild Robot by Peter Brown

This enchanting story follows a curious robot named Roz, who finds herself marooned on a remote island. Throughout her journey, Roz learns to survive and earns the trust of the island's animals. It’s a touching tale of acceptance, friendship, and the true meaning of caring for others.

I am thrilled to share that the Book Fair is just around the corner! We will be hosting it from March 20 to March 27. Be sure to stop by and explore all the new offerings.

Hi, my name is Adrienne Fournier, the librarian/media specialist at Sheldon Elementary. I am starting my 21st year in Sheldon ISD. I taught first, second, and third grade. Now this will will be my 5th year as the media specialist in the library.

I graduated from the University of Houston, (Go Cougars!) with a degree in child development and a Masters in Reading Instruction. I love reading and sharing books with the students. I believe "Reading should not be presented to children a chore, a duty. It should be offered as a gift." -Katie DiCamillo
