Students in 1st through 3rd grade will receive reading logs to record their monthly reading activities. They will submit these logs to their teacher at the end of each month. The student with the highest reading minutes is Damien Williams from Ms. Waller’s class with 345 minutes for October. The class with the most reading logs is Ms. Trevino’s first grade class.
I want to give a heartfelt thank you to all parents and students who helped support our school during the book fair. We appreciate you!!
I am excited to announce that Book Clubs for third and fifth grade are starting soon. Be on the look out for information soon.

Hi, my name is Adrienne Fournier, the librarian/media specialist at Sheldon Elementary. I am starting my 21st year in Sheldon ISD. I taught first, second, and third grade. Now this will will be my 5th year as the media specialist in the library.
I graduated from the University of Houston, (Go Cougars!) with a degree in child development and a Masters in Reading Instruction. I love reading and sharing books with the students. I believe "Reading should not be presented to children a chore, a duty. It should be offered as a gift." -Katie DiCamillo
