On September 29, Sheldon ISD and the Education Foundation hosted its annual State of the District luncheon for all current and future community partners in Sheldon ISD. Attendees watched performances from King High School’s theater and choir as well as King Middle School and Null Middle School’s choir. Superintendent Dr. Demetrius McCall shared the state of the district, and organizations learned more about ways to donate to the district’s Education Foundation. To date, the Foundation has awarded more than $180,000 in innovative teaching grants. To learn more about how to give back to Sheldon ISD students and teachers, go to www.sheldonisd.com/sef.
